A few verses from Isaiah comfort and goad me: Isaiah 33:6 says the Lord will be the stability of my times, a wealth of wisdom, salvation and knowledge. Isaiah 46:3-5 tells me He is the God of my gray hairs. When I reflect on the news — wars, rumors of wars, and natural disasters, suffering refugees, and problems of daily living — and put in my two cents, I hope as I exhort myself to be useful, I will encourage dear readers to keep seeking and serving.
