Half-Price Books is wonderful. It is a repository of wonderful books, movies, music, used and new, stationery, games, tee-shirts and even toys. Here bibliophiles can indulge their passion for books and music, and sell what they no longer can shelf. Some people like Neiman’s and Horchow’s; we liked Half-Price Books. So, while in Dallas, Doug and I visited our favorite haunt.
There, I discovered bargain cards by Anne Taintor. Like Charles Addams, she may be an acquired taste, but I love her, and want you to know her.
No, I don’t feel homicidal giving up carbs. Actually I feel pretty good.
The other Dallas delight I wish we had in Maryland is The Flying Fish. If you click the link, you can see how great and relaxed a place it is.
It’s a wonderful gift to have made good memories.
